Wyndmont Inc. Continues to Bring Home Blues at Tryon Summer Series
Tryon, NC – July 20, 2015 – As the summer season at the Tryon International Equestrian Center continues, so do the blue ribbon victories for the team at Wyndmont Inc. Ronnie Beard and Michael Dorman have helped horses and riders collect multiple wins over the last two weeks, and the momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
This month, Wyndmont began helping professional rider Kyle Timm, and the partnership is already paying off in spades. On July 12, Timm piloted Platinum to victory in the $34,000 CSI3* 1.50m Challenge.

„The mare jumped really well, I was very happy with her,“ smiled Timm. „That week was interesting because that mare wasn’t even supposed to jump FEI. I had a jump school with Ronnie and Michael on Tuesday, two hours before the horses were going to jog, and they said, ‚Kyle, the horse is jumping fantastic, you should put her in.‘ It worked out really well. Michael and Ronnie have only seen that mare three or four times, but right away they were able to push me a little out of my comfort zone. We did it and it worked great, and I am grateful that they were there to help me with that.“
Timm continued, „My favorite thing is that they are very calm and they are not trying to change a lot of things at one time. I am a professional rider, and I ride anywhere between 10-20 horses at a show. A lot of them are sales horses, so I can’t reinvent the wheel, I need someone who can just keep an eye on me and help me 5 percent here and 10 percent there. I think that we work well together that wa
The wins kept coming for the team at Wyndmont, with Candice King taking home the top prize with Cuchica in the $10,000 1.45m Open Jumpers on July 17, after placing second earlier in the week in the 1.40m Open Jumpers. King also scored second, third and fourth place ribbons in the 1.40m Open Jumpers with Elixer St, while she and Valinski S continued their successful partnership with a third place finish in the $34,000 Suncast 1.45m Welcome Stake.

Following just behind King in the $34,000 Suncast 1.45 Welcome Stake was Australia’s Matt Williams, piloting Zephyr to a fifth place finish, and then placing fourth in the $34,000 1.50m Classic. Williams also took home a blue ribbon riding Cas in the 1.35m Open Jumpers.
Beard and Dorman have also been coaching Christi Israel, who had a victory of her own with her young mount Darinda in the 7-Year-Old Young Jumper Qualifier. The pair then went on to place second in the Medium Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumpers.
The team at Wyndmont will continue to compete at the Tryon Summer Series through the end of August before returning to Florida in September to give the horses and riders a rest before the fall show season.
