The GLOCK’s Medium Tour Final goes to Holland

The bell rang out 17 times today to mark each start in the final of the CSI1* GLOCK’s Medium Tour. Like all the tests on the fourth and therefore last day of the tournament at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, this test over 1.35 m was to be decided in a jump off. By virtue of penalty-free basic rounds, six starting duos secured themselves a shot at victory and gave their all once more in the jump off.

With the best time of 39.75 seconds, Amber Meijer (NED), in the saddle on her just-seven-year-old KWPN mare Feline Hbc, was not to be beaten and took well-deserved victory in the GLOCK’s Medium Tour Final. Following a third and a second place in preceding tests, this was the crowning glory: “This is my first time at the GHPC and I must say, it’s simply perfect. My mare did a great job and we felt great here. I do so hope that I may ride here once again”, she said with a beaming smile in the winner’s interview.

Courtesy of Christian Juza (S) and Mister Z, second place went to Austria with a time of 40.24 seconds. Italy was represented by Luca Coata and Ouite Beauty in third place (0/41.51). Thanks to the fourth place of Benjamin Saurugg (St) on Contador, sixth place of Johanna Sixt (B) on Koh I Noor and successive tenth and eleventh places of Victoire Martin (NÖ) on Casey Calhou and Marie Theres Knill (St) on Campino 243, Austria was represented a further four times in the placings.
