GlockHPC_100Holsteiner breeding is a guarantee of quality. Convincingly in evidence again today in the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour Final at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria. Thirty-three young seven to eight-year-old horses had been entered for the jumping competition with jump-off over 1.40 m, with no fewer than 18 of them remaining penalty-free in the basic round and thus being able to contest the final, deciding round.

Here seven-year-old gelding Casco, bred in Holstein, was able to excel. Presented by David Will (GER), this son of Caspar at this, only his fourth international tournament, impressed one and all with his enormous jumping power and agility, winning by a substantial margin in 38.01 seconds. “My horses were all in good shape throughout the weekend. Now being right at the front at last is superb. We really had a great time here and I would like to offer my thanks to the Glock family for this magnificent event. Now I can only hope that things go just as well in the GLOCK’s 5* Grand Prix”, said David Will in the interview.

Unicstar de l’Aumone, eight-year-old daughter of Ninio de Rox, and Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP), winners of Friday’s Youngster Tour, came second (0/39.52). Eight-year-old stallion Chilli Willi, bred from Casall x Lord, and his rider Nicola Philippaerts (BEL), won third place (0/39.95) again for the Holstein breeding area.
