Gold medal number two for Germany!
After the great success of Germany’s Children equipe, who won the Gold medal at the European Jumping Championships for Children, Juniors and Young Riders in Wiener Neustadt on Thursday (13.08.) and the Silver medal of the Young Rider team the Germans managed to claim yet another medal in the Junior class – and this time, it was the golden one again! Markus Merschformann’s team Christoph Maack (Dyleen), Theresa Ripke (Calmado), Philip Houston (Kannella) and Leonie Krieg (Champerlo) finished the two team rounds with a final score of eight penalty points and celebrated the title.
Team Ireland and Great Britain were both lying in second with a score of twelve penalty points and had to go into a jump-off. Ireland’s riders were the better ones in the end, finished the jump-off faultless and claimed Silver ahead of the british riders.
