Two weeks ago, the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Netherlands announced that their current stable rider Marieke van der Putten will leave to start her own stable. Her successor was chosen today by Nicole Werner and the GLOCK Riders Hans Peter Minderhoud and Edward Gal.
Following statement was released on the GHPC Website:
The successor as our GHPC Netherlands stable rider has been chosen. The large number of interesting applications were checked through carefully and ultimately it was Riccardo Sanavio from Italy who was selected.
Riccardo was born in Milan and was already in the saddle at the age of five. As a ten-year-old he took his first bronze medal in the Italian Dressage Championships, and many more medals followed. At the age of 24, Riccardo Sanavio went to Germany, there to continue to concentrate on his training. It was there that Riccardo worked for Daniel Ramseier before moving to Andreas Helgstrand in March 2016.
The young Italian certainly didn’t want to pass up the chance to work at GHPC Netherlands with Nicole Werner, Hans Peter Minderhoud and Edward Gal. „When I heard that Marieke was going to become self-employed and that her position would be vacant, I knew I just had to apply. The GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER is the best place for me to be able to develop and learn. I’m already looking forward to my future tasks and I’m incredibly proud that I will become one of the team at GHPC Netherlands!“
