Dutch Dressage Championship horse sold
Dutch dressage rider Patrcik van der Meer has to continue his career without his top horse Uzzo. As reported by horses.nl, the 14 year old KWPN gelding by Lancet x Indoctro has been sold via Carolyn Kooijman (President Dressage Stables) to an unknown young rider.

Uzzo and Patrick were part of the gold medal winning Dutch team at the European Championships in Aachen this year. „We received a lot of requests from abroad lately“, said Patrick van der Meer. „Of course it is tough that he is sold, especially because we had a chance to go to the Olympics in Rio 2016. On the other hand, I am happy with the new owner because I know he will be treated well there.“
It is not yet revealed who the new owner is. But it is confirmed that it is a young Dutch dressage rider who is about to move up from the Young Rider’s to the U25 class. „Uzzo will remain in my stable for a while, I will train the girl and him. It is important to me, that Uzzo feels comfortable.“
