David Will loses top horse
German show jumping rider Christian Ahlmann announced on his Website that he will take over the reins of Colorit. The powerful grey with enormous jumping skills was previously ridden by 27-year-old David Will. The duo won the World Cup at CSI5*-W ’s-Hertogenbosch 2013, the Grand Prix of CSI3* Mannheim 2013 and the Grand Prix of Munich in 2012.

The following statement was published on Ahlmann’s website:
„The 100th nations cup in Mannheim is coming up and will be a very exciting weekend for Christian Ahlmann – but not only because of the nations cup. Christian will compete a new horse. For the first time, he and Colorit will compete together. The twelve-year-old Baden-Wuerttemberger by Coriano was previously ridden by David Will.
„A couple of days ago Colorit’s owner contacted me“, said Ahlmann. „I rode Colorit for a couple of days at home and he felt very easy. Now, we are going to try our luck at a show.“
Colorit is a very successful horse that already won several Grand Prix: „He is a horse for the top level, very calm with lots of capability.“
Besides Colorit, Christian will bring Taloubet Z for the Nations Cup and Epleaser van’t Heike for the Grand Prix of Mannheim.“
