Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) piled on the power in GLOCK’s Perfection Tour

GlockHPC_100Today 41 riders saddled their horses for the CSI3* GLOCK’s Perfection Tour over 1.40 m. In this jumping competition accumulator with joker, not only a rapid tempo but also narrow turns were required. Scarcely anyone, apart from the Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano, can combine these two factors better. Known as “Mr Speed”, the famous show-jumper piloted his nine-year-old Belgian-bred gelding Galileo 139 masterfully through the slalom course and literally flew over the finishing line with the full point score of 65 in the amazingly fast time of 47.84 seconds.

“Galileo is my new horse and that’s why I was still riding him gently yesterday. Today we really sped up and I’m happy that it was sufficient to secure victory.”

At the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, the many-times Olympic gold medallist, World and European Champion of versatility, Michael Jung (GER), proved once again that over the jumps too he’s a force to be reckoned with. Also scoring 65 points, with a time of 49.46 seconds, meant second place for him and his ten-year-old Sportsmann S (Stolzenberg x Calido).

David Will (GER) rode to third place in the saddle of the Oldenburger gelding Lesthago. The duo passed the test with full points in 51 seconds.

Jürgen Krackow from Salzburg held the Austrian flag high with his nine-year-old KWPN stallion Boulahrouz. He completed GLOCK’s Perfection Tour with 65 points in 59.25 seconds for twelfth place.
