Von 24.-27. September wird im ‚Real Club de Polo‘ in Barcelona das 5 Sterne Finale des Furusiyya FEI Nationen Cup Springen 2015 ausgetragen.
Highlights sind der erste Teilbewerb des Furusiyya FEI Nationen Cup (Do, 24.09., 16.30), der Longines Challenge Cup (Fr, 25.09. 21 Uhr) und das Finalspringen Furusiyya FEI Nationen Cup am Samstag, 26.09. 21 Uhr).

Weitere sechs internationale Springprüfungen werden in diesen vier Wettkampftagen ausgetragen, darunter auch die Segura Viudas Queen’s Cup Trophy.

Das Showprogramm ‚How Horses Dance‘ sponsored by SEAT der Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre (Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Arts Foundation) wird am Freitag ab 11.30 und am Samstag um 10.45 für Begeisterung sorgen.

Eine Shopping Meile, ein Panoramarestaurant und der neue Pony Park runden das Angebot ab.

From September 24th to 27th the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona will host the 104th edition of CSIO Barcelona 2015, the most important equestrian jumping competition at the international level. During this 4-day event the ‘Ciudad Condal’ will become the equestrian capital of the world.

The programme features three team competitions (the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Jumping Final  first round, the Longines Challenge Cup and the Furusiyya Grand Final), with the CSIO Barcelona schedule also being rounded out by six other individual competitions. Highlights among these include the Segura Viudas Queen’s Cup Trophy and, of course, the classic Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona as the final climax of the competitions on Sunday.

Shows
Friday, September 25th  at 11:30 pm: The show “Cómo bailan los caballos” (“How Horses Dance”) sponsored by SEAT. The Fundación de la Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre (Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Arts Foundation) will present an exhibition based on choreographed equestrian ballet and dressage in the Doma Clásica and Doma Vaquera styles, featuring Spanish music and costumes from the 18th century.
Saturday, September26th at 10:45 pm: Furusiyya and the FEI will again light up the stage with a show featuring one of today’s hottest pop stars, Carly Rae Jepsen.

Also during the event the competitions will alternate with another exhibition sponsored by Estrella Damm and starring French rider Audrey Hasta Luego. This show is divided into three parts, with three completely different riding styles that will thrill and entertain children and adults alike.

For the little ones
For the event’s youngest attendees, CSIO Barcelona will also feature the Pony Park, located adjacent to the main entrance. This area will be supported by specialized monitors from the RCPB’s equestrian riding school. All proceeds from entry tickets to the Pony Park (€3), which is also sponsored this year by Massimo Dutti, will be donated to the Enriqueta Villavecchia Childhood Cancer Foundation. This charitable organization is dedicated to providing full financial support to cover the needs of young cancer patients and their families in Catalonia. This foundation will also benefit from donation of all proceeds from the raffle tickets sold for a giveaway of prizes offered by the event’s sponsors and other collaborators.

Shopping village and food
In addition to the competitions, the event’s offerings will also feature a shopping village with more than 40 exhibitors presenting an extensive range of products, as well as a revamped food court that will please even the most demanding diners. Here visitors will be able to choose from a wide range of classic tapas, a full selection of fruits, or the most sophisticated desserts and pastries from the city’s finest bakeries. The guests will also be able to enjoy an attractive panoramic restaurant with an appealing tasting menu during the mid-day competitions.
