Press Release | Dressage – In the “Sunshine State,” dressage rider Katherina Stumpf of Vienna, Austria and her 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding, For My Love, literally sparkled as they competed in the International Arena of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. The duo’s impeccable tack and presentation caught the eye of World Equestrian Brands, the U.S. distributor of premium high-performance equestrian products from Amerigo, Vespucci, E.A. Mattes, Hamag, and Equilibrium, Equetech and ProChaps. The company awarded Stumpf with the World Equestrian Brands Tack Matters Award for their attractive presentation in the ring.

For the fifth consecutive year, World Equestrian Brands is once again sponsoring the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, which runs from January 11 – March 25, 2017 at the Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Horse and rider pairs with the most functional and stylish tack have the chance to win the World Equestrian Brands Tack Matters Award, which includes a beautiful ribbon and product from World Equestrian Brands.

For her exemplary turnout, Stumpf was presented with a pair of Equilibrium Stretch & Flex Patent Bell Boots, providing a complimentary taste of the type of equipment that World Equestrian Brands carries to help bring equestrian pairs to the next level – in both performance and appearance.

Stumpf, who travels to Florida every year to compete in the winter dressage circuit, competed in the FEI Small Tour with her 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding For My Love (by For Feeling), with whom she made her international Grand Prix debut in 2013. “I have been riding For My Love for nine years now,” said Stumpf. “He is like a part of me.”

Having experienced such close connection with her equine partner, Stumpf knows that proper use of tack is essential in helping horse and rider become an excellent team. Each piece of equipment must be both comfortable and effective, thoughtfully engineered to facilitate excellent communication between the two. World Equestrian Brands was impressed with Stumpf and For My Love’s turnout, which upholds the company values of quality, comfort, and performance.

In addition to using high-quality and well-fitted tack, Stumpf tries her best to make sure that both she and her horse maintain a stylish and well-groomed appearance whenever they enter the show ring. “Dressage is a very aesthetic sport,” she explained. “You should really take care of both the horse and the rider. It’s important to look very nice so that the judges can see you are trying your best every time.”

As one of the world’s largest international and national dressage circuits featuring seven FEI Dressage events, the Adequan Global Dressage Festival attracts some of the finest athletes in the world, making it the perfect venue to highlight pairings who demonstrate proper use of tack to improve their performance and elevate their presence in the show ring. As an outfitter of many of the world’s top dressage athletes including Allison Brock, Pierre St. Jacques, and John Zopatti, World Equestrian Brands knows that quality tack is a necessary instrument for a winning performance.

World Equestrian Brands looks forward to presenting The Tack Matters Award weekly to other deserving horse-and-rider teams like Stumpf and For My Love throughout the 2017 Adequan Global Dressage Festival.

Riders who are interested in World Equestrian Brands products can find them on the Adequan Global Dressage Festival show grounds in The Horse of Course’s mobile tack shop. The company’s tack and equipment is also available just around the corner from the show grounds at The Tackeria and Dover Saddlery.
