Shayne is with his 51 years probably the world’s oldest horse – but actually he does not really look like that. The active liver chestnut gelding lives since 2007 in the british Brentwood (Essex). He loves being in company, eats four times a day and enjoys every day like a ’normal‘ horse. A very funny detail to that story: Shayne is living in the same town like the world’s oldest dog Pip, who turned 24 this year.
