Recently a Przewalski foal was born in Port Lympne Reserve near Kent. It was the second time within a year. The news is encouraging, as Przewalski horses are considered endangered breed.
The horses originally came from Mongolia. They are very robust and can withstand extremely low temperatures. In the wild the are extinct since the seventies. The aim is to settle the breed again in Mongolia and China.
