Press release WEF – The 2016 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) Sport Horse Auction will begin tonight, Thursday, March 3, at 7:00 p.m., showcasing 16 of the world’s finest young show jumping prospects in a live-auction setting. The event will be hosted at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (13500 South Shore Boulevard).
A highlight of the WEF circuit each year, the participating prospects, sourced by renowned VDL Stud in the Netherlands, will be shown under saddle in the Global International Ring, while bidders and attendees watch the action unfold from the Global International Pavilion. Spectators are welcome to watch the event from the grand stands surrounding the arena or the Global West Pavilion.
The horses available for purchase in this year’s edition of the WEF Sport Horse Auction range in age from four to eight years old, hand-selected specifically for their temperament, talent, and experience by owner and operator of VDL Stud, Janko van de Lageweg.
