Zac Brown Tribute Band „20 Ride“ To Rock Fourth of July
The popular Zac Brown tribute band will be rocking the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) this Fourth of July as spectators celebrate the Nation’s holiday with a free concert in the George Morris International Arena, plus a beer garden featuring a selection of more than 50 craft beers, „Saturday Night Lights“ entertainment and first-class equestrian competition.
In addition to chart-topping Zac Brown Band hits like „Chicken Fried,“ „Toes“ and „Highway 20 Ride,“ the American country/folk band plays anything from traditional country to Caribbean and a long list of top cover songs. From the South Carolina Upstate, the 20 RIDE band’s authentic vocals, looks and music will have spectators swearing that it is the real Zac Brown Band.

The Special Forces Associates Parachute Team will make an encore appearance at TIEC on the Fourth of July and jump from 8,000 feet into the George Morris International Arena with the American flag. More than 10,000 spectators watched the parachute team’s special performance at the TIEC grand opening in June.

Plenty of free, family fun is also planned for the evening as part of TIEC’s ongoing „Saturday Night Lights“ series held on Grand Prix Saturdays from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Kids can enjoy free face painting, airbrush tattoos and rides on a hand painted Venetian carousel, plus other family entertainment including live music, sky-high ballet performances by the Asheville Aerial Artists, eclectically clad stilt walkers, magicians, jugglers and more. As a bonus for the 4th of July event, guests can test their luck on a mechanical bull or the dunk tank.
Admission to TIEC and parking are free and open to the public.
The evening culminates with the $127,000 Grand Prix CSI3* to be held in the George Morris International Arena. The week’s largest show jumping competition is held under international guidelines of the Federation Equestre International (FEI), the sport’s international governing body.
These activities, combined with TIEC’s bounty of onsite dining and shopping options, make TIEC an ideal spot to spend the Fourth of July with friends and family. In addition to Roger’s Diner and the Legends Grille, which are open year round to the public, patrons can choose from vendors selling sushi, summer treats, coffee, wood-fired pizza, lemonade, ice cream and a variety of carnival snacks.
