Four Olympic Gold Medals in Seoul (KOR) 1988 and Barcelona (ESP) in 1992, two gold medals at the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm (SWE) 1990 and three gold and one silver medal at the European Championships in Donaueschingen (GER) 1991 and Mondorf les Bains (LUX) in 1989 – that is just an extract of the long list of victories and medals that Nicole Uphoff (GER) and Rembrandt earned during their career together- a truly unforgettable dressage horse.

Nicole posted the following on her Facebook Page:
Yesterday one of you came up with the idea of showing Remmi: here you can see him in the Grand Prix Special at the Olympics in Seoul 1988 (Remark: video posted above). Look at the impulsion at 2:09 and me struggling to keep up with him. In the walk, I needed to hold my breath, stop moving, he was just waiting for piaffe and passage. He had no time to waste in the pirouettes as well! You can perfectly see which movements he did not like, ones he did just because he had to. And to keep the dressage test thrilling for spectators, he made a little side step every now and then. Enjoy!!

We liked the idea, too, and definitely enjoyed watching the videos!
