Two victories of Laura Renwick today in the LGCT Madrid

Press Release Oxer – The best riders in the world today have competed on the grass arena of Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. British Laura Renwick has shone on the first day 5 * winning both classes. With a time of 26.04 seconds and riding Bintang II, Britain has won the Massimo Dutti Trophy, beating for fifteen hundredths Olivier Philippaerts Belgian, who finished second. French Kevin Staut has qualified in third position. Laura Renwick has achieved its 601st victory  in international competitions.

The presence on the stage of Bruce Springsteen has aroused great excitement among the public. The singer has gone to the Club de Campo to see her daughter, Jessica Springsteen who is competing.

Brisith rider Laura Renwick, with MHS Washington, has conquered the first position at the Volvo Trophy, first class of the 106 CSI5* – Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) which is taking place at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. Second was the American Laura Kraut and third Andreas Kreuzer. 56 pairs participated in the Volvo Trophy, including some of the best riders in the World –in their first contact with the arena- like Luciana Diniz winner of the Grand Prix Longines 2015 in Madrid, Steve Guerdat, champion of the World Cup, Christian Ahlmann, second best rider of the World and leader of the LGCT ranking, and Emanuele Gaudiano, second in this ranking.

Tomorrow the Grand Prix of Madrid LGCT presented by CaixaBank will be held at 17:00, with the participation of the best riders in the world. The test will be broadcasted live at 19:30 on Eurosport and Teledeporte.
