EQWO.net News Service | Alpenspan Team News – This season one success is chasing the other in Team Alpenspan. While Dieter Koefler (Carinthia), Anton Martin Bauer (Lower Austria) and the Alpenspan ladies Lena Binder (Lower Austria) and Gudrun Pirker (Styria) took part in their home show in Zeltweg-Farrach (Styria) from 29.06. – 02.07.2017 their Styrian team colleagues Gerfried Puck and Katrin Pfingstl triumphed at the CSI2* in the Lake Arena in Wr. Neustadt (Lower Austria).
Gerfried Puck, who had already won the previous week aboard Bionda in Olomouc (CZ), scored again in the Lake Arena in Wr. Neustadt. The highlight of his week at the traditional summer tournament in the Lake Arena surely was the victory in the Championat of Bad Fischau Brunn 2017 over 1.45 m, which he won with the eleven-year-old KWPN mare Bionda 3.
Also in the other tours the Styrian Gerfried performed outstanding. Placements in the international tours up to 1.0 m with For Fun VT, Fair Bluff and Eclips 2 rounded off a successful weekend. Katrin Pfingstl also showed her horses in the Lake Arena and succeeded with a fifth place in the final of the Small Tour over 1.30 m and ranked eighth with Wally in the Good Bye Competition over 1.40 m.
The third tournament of the Casino Grand Prix took place in Farrach-Zeltweg and it couldn’t have been a greater success for Team Alpenspan. Four Victories and eleven placings went to Team Alpenspan! Dieter Koefler and Golden Gun won three times over 1.40 m. His seven-year-old KWPN gelding (by Zirocco Blue Vdl) convinced with great precision and power. In the qualifiying tournament for the Casino Grand Prix over 1.45 m the Carinthian jumped to fourth place with the 14-year-old Azkaban (by Armitage). In the Final the winners of last years Casino Grand Prix finished third.
The youngest Alpenspan team rider Lena Binder won aboard her Panni over 1.25 ahead of team colleague Gudrun Pirker and Alpenspan Citadelle. In the tests of the Amazones over 1.25 m Lena showed her talent and placed second with Panni. In the Amateurcup the daughter of Alpenspan team boss Anton Martin Bauer jumped on Viper Van Huize Ruisdael to fifth place, in the U25 Cup rank two (on Viper Van Huize) and rank three (with Panni 2) belonged to the talented young rider. Her father Anton Martin Bauer successfully showed Zilesska in the tests over 1.30 m and 1.25 m and came second and sixth.
