„I’ve had him for one year and about two weeks. He was out on the paddock and he injured himself, so he had to have time off. So we only got about nine months of training on him. But I always knew he was going to be a good horse. I just didn’t know how long it would take to get it out of him. In the last few months he showed he was going to be a really nice horse!“ says Austrian based trainer Vern Sapergia.
„He is very tall and has long legs, so spins were very difficult to learn for him. I really hope that I can keep him for one more year because when he gets more mature he can be a real awesome horse.“

Lukasz Czechowicz and Frozen Spookiness owned by Andrzej Ciok settled for reserve honors (216,0). The polish rider also finished third with Katarzyna Roleska’s AQHA stallion Hot Spark Olena (215,5) Winner of the Level 1 Finals was Bernardo Sarao (ITA) with A Peppy Cadillac (213,5).
Level 1 and 2 4 year Futurity Open Finals: Riders from seven countries competed for the winning title. Walter Martini (ITA) who’d already been in the lead after the first Go round and his chestnut Quarter Horse Dreamin With Dot won the Level 2 and Level 1 with the fantastic score of 218,0. Walter Martini is based in Germany and works with the team of NRHA Million Dollar Rider Rudi Kronsteiner (AUT).

„Walter was great. I rode this horse at the Euro Futurity and I know he’s not easy to ride. I have to admit he did a better job than me with Dreamin With Dot“, says Rudi Kronsteiner.
Walter Martini is very happy: „He’s a really good horse, we did a really good job, we are a great team! We won the 3yo Futurity last year, now we won the 4yo Futurity, so that’s simply wonderful!“

Dennis Schulz (AUT) on his father Helmut Schulz‘ Whiz Smart Orima scored 214,5 and earned reserve champion honours. The third place went to Barbara Hengge (AUT) aboard Smart Chexaco Jac owned by Harald Platteter (213,0).
