German eventing rider Sandra Auffarth had to say good-bye to the 14 year-old irish bred The Blue Frontier for lack of time.

In agreement with The Blue Frontier’s owner, Prinz Nikolaus von Croy, the double World Champion decided to let Australia’s Andrew Hoy take over.
“Andrew is a horseman through and through and has an incredible feeling for his horses. I could not have wished for a better rider for Blue. After I got the ride on Ispo late last year I knew that my day does not have enough hours to fulfill the needs of all horses on my team”, said Sandra Auffarth.
Blue Frontier is now owned by Barbara Keller (SUI) who also owns Hoy’s ride Jack Sparrow.
