The 11 year-old Swedish Warmblood stallion Dalwhinnie was operated after a bad injury in the Helsingborg equine clinic by American surgical specialist Barrie Grant, assisted by Swede Mads Kristoffersen. Dalwhinnie is doing well so far, but the athletic career of the approved black stallion is uncertain. In late September he was a little unbalanced and after a veterinary inspection, a violation was found in his neck. This could be happened on pasture or in his box.
Dalwhinnie (De Niro x Rohdiamant x Amiral) was bred by Birgitta and Torsten Hansson and is owned by Västra Hoby Stuteri and the breeders together. Mattias Jansson competed with the black stallion on small tour level at the CDI Mechelen 2012.
