This year in July, swiss show jumping rider Steve Guerdat received a shocking message. The FEI accused the Olympic and World Cup Champion of using prohibited substances on his horses (read the article). Even though the possibility of contaminated food was brought up right from the beginning, it was up to Steve to prove his innocence.
Just recently the top rider has been cleared from any accusations (read the article), but the shadows of the incident remain. Steve Guerdat now talked to the US-american platform worldofshowjumping.com about the difficult time, the consequences and his hopes for the future.
