Peter Gmoser and his partner Belinda Weinbauer did really well at the Wintercup in Weikersdorf (NÖ) on the weekends from 11.-13.11 and 25.-27.11.2016, while Alpenspan team leader Anton Martin Bauer successfully managed his young horses La Capa R and Chanel De Tiji Z at Magna Racino (NÖ).
Incredible twelve first places, five second, three third, a fourth and a fifth place went to Team Alpenspan on the two weekends of the Winter Cup. Peter Gmoser also managed to win all three classes of the Horsebox Austria Cup 2016. With the nine-year old Rheinlaender Warmblut mare Lima Luna he won in class M with a total of 287,712 points. The victory in the small tour also went to the man in the green jacket. In the saddle of the nine-year-old Oldenburg stallion Royal Dimension Gmoser finished first with 283,245 points, aboard Blue Bayou he placed fifth (267,851). The winner of the Grand Tour was also Peter Gmoser when he won the overall rating with 280,384 points with the twelve-year-old Oldenburger stallion Salgado under the saddle.
Peter Gmoser’s companion Belinda Weinbauer won the FEI Intermediare II on the first of the two dressage weekends (11.-13.11.) in Weikersdorf in Lower Austria aboard the eleven-year-old Oldenburg mare Fustanella (70,476). With “Fusti” she placed second in the Intermediare A (69.444%) on the following weekend (25th – 27th November) and second in Intermediare B (70.357%). She also presented the five-year-old Hanoverian mare Miss Dannebrog MJ. On the first Friday they won with a score of 7,50. On Saturday with a score of 8,10 the victory was also theirs. With the Hanoverian mare Ferrero Kuesschen Belinda also showed a great performance. The pair won the dressage test in the class LP with 71,750 % on the first weekend and with 73,0 % on the second weekend.
In the Small Tour of the Prix St.Georg Belinda even put Peter in second place when she won the test with nine-year-old Westphalian mare Fraeulein Auguste MJ (by Florenico) with 73,114 % ahead of Peter Gmoser on Royal Dimension (by Royal Hit) with 71,096 %.
Anton Martin Bauer took his five-year-old Belgian Warblood mare La Capa R and the seven-year-old mare Chanel De Tiji to Magna Racino in Ebreichsdorf (Lower Austria). With La Capa R he won the 1,15 m jumping test for young horses. In the test for five- to six-year-old horses over 1,05 m the pair came first and sixth. With Chanel De Tiji under the saddle the Alpenspan team captain also placed third in the test over 1,30 m.
