Millstreet set for spectacular summer of Equestrian Sport!

The action gets underway in just 15 days time as the gates are opened to competitors from around the world for the highly anticipated Mounted Games World Team Championships hosted by the Irish Mounted Games Association from 13th – 16th July.
Following that, Europe’s top Juniors and Young Riders will travel from over 30 nations with the aim of finishing in the medals at the FEI European Jumping Championships (YR, J, C) from 26th – 31st July.
Ten days later, Millstreet International Horse Show CSI3* takes place in its traditional dates (9th – 14th August) and features a wide range of competitions ranging from the Two Year Old Futurity right up to CSI3* International level.
At the end of August, the attention turns to Drishane Castle where Millstreet International Horse Trials will bring a busy summer of equestrian action to a close (25th – 28th August). This year the event has been upgraded to CCI3* level and ahead of next year’s hosting of the FEI European Eventing Championships (Young Riders and Juniors), the Green Glens Arena is likely to feature prominently in the plans of those vying for team selection.
We look forward to welcoming you through the gates at the Green Glens Arena over the coming months. If you are unable to make it, the Mounted Games Championships will be streamed online while popular European video streaming provider ‘ClipmyHorse.TV’ will ensure that you don’t miss a moment of the FEI European Jumping Championships (YR, J, C) and the feature classes of Millstreet International Horse Show CSI3*.
