The American Lauren Hough has celebrated in her own way the American national day by winning the Prix Renault Kadjar with a… French mare: “She is naturally fast. Royalty Des Isles is 10 and I bought her less than a year ago in Europe, at Henk Nooren’s. When I was in the States last year, she had a long period of rest, but since, she has won a lot of courses like that, at 1.50, thanks to her speed.”

It’s the first time the American rides in Paris, at least at the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, and she finds the place… “amazing. I would never have thought practicing my sport under the Eiffel Tower, even it’s pretty warm. But it doesn’t bother that much her mare, who has speed and who handles the heat really good”.

Die Amerikanerin Lauren Hough feierte den amerikanischen Nationalfeiertag auf ihre Weise. Sie siegte im Prix Renault Kadjar mit ihrer … französischen Stute.

„Sie ist von Natur aus schnell. Royalty Des Isles ist zehn. Ich kaufte sie vor weniger als einem Jahr in Europa bei Henk Nooren. Als ich im vergangenen Jahr in den Staaten war, hatte sie eine lange Ruhepause, aber dann gewann sie viele Bewerbe wie diesen über 1,50m. Danke, für ihre Geschwindigkeit.“

Es ist das erste Mal, dass die Amerikanerin in Paris reitet und sie findet den Platz “ … erstaunlich. Ich hätte nie gedacht meinen Sport einmal unter dem Eiffelturm auszuüben, auch wenn es sehr heiß ist. Aber esmacht nichts, meine Stute ist schnell und kommt mit den Temperaturen gut zurecht“
