Jumping International of Monte-Carlo

Horses have passed the vet-check this afternoon, all we be able to compete tomorrow in their respective classes. Appointment is taken for the first five stars class that will begin at 3:15pm this Friday, where all the international showjumping headliners will make their first steps in the competition. Thus, spectators will see last year’s Grand Prix winner, Scotland’s Scott Brash (world n°5) actually in a good dynamic after his victory in Cannes a couple of weeks ago; but also Germany Christian Ahlmann, current leader of the Longines Global Champions Tour circuit, or a rider to whom Monaco is quite successful, Richard Spooner. Three times winner of the Grand Prix, in 2008, 2009 and 2014, the American rider comes back to the European continent after several months spent in the United-States.

The list of the international stars present in Monaco is quite long, but we can name Australia Edwina Tops-Alexander, Irlande Bertram Allen, Great-Britain John Whitaker, Belgium Jérôme Guéry, Columbia Daniel Bluman, Greece Athina Onassis, or also America Jessica Springsteen, Audrey Coulter and Georgina Bloomberg among the riders to see this week-end. Only French in competition, Julien Epaillard, will also be here to try to win, among others, the Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco, on Saturday at 6:30pm.
A week-end full of emotions and sport where the public will be able to enjoy the splendid setting of the Jumping International of Monte-Carlo, where horses perfectly mix up with the Port Hercule background.
