GLOCK’s Casper and Hans Peter Minderhoud collect their second victory!

GlockHPC_LOGOToday in the CDI3* Intermediaire I test, for 23 horse-rider duos it was all about qualifying for tomorrow’s freestyle at this level. Once more, GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud and just eight-year-old GLOCK’s Casper were able once again to take the limelight in particularly great style.

The elegant KWPN gelding presented himself relaxed and focused and, for his swinging extended trot movement, scored up to 9.0. Only two tiny insecurities, in the pirouette and the flying changes, gave a hint that GLOCK’s Casper, at just eight years old, is still a very young horse really.

But with an overall score of 71.684 %, the GLOCK duo secured victory today too. „I am super happy with GLOCK’s Casper. He did this test for the first time and it isn’t an easy one to ride. He did a fantastic job, so let’s see how things go tomorrow in the freestyle”, said the visibly contented GLOCK Rider on the performance of his youngster.

In turn, second place was also taken by a Dutch rider. Jonna Schelstraete and Cupdio, son of Tuschinski, were beaten by just a narrow margin with their score of  71.263 %, whilst third-placed Anja Plönzke (GER), with Revolverheld NRW, was not far behind (71.026 %).

There was strong applause for Austria three times too, as Caroline (W/Darius Rubin), her sister Patricia Kottas-Heldenberg (W/Silbermond 13) and Belinda Weinbauer (B/Fustanella) took ninth, tenth and twelfth places respectively.

Cooking Lounge
German star chef Alfons Schuhbeck will gain be delighting all in his Cooking Lounge at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER. Here, all tournament guests enjoy free entry. The cooking shows take place on Friday and Saturday at 11am, 2pm and 5pm and on Sunday at 11am and 2pm.

The tournament arena is accessible to all visitors free of charge. In the Kids Lounge and at the Pony Riding area, fun and entertainment are guaranteed for the youngsters. Dogs have been considered too: in the Dog Lounge there’s plenty of sustenance and the very finest of massages (by appointment and subject to availability) for your faithful pets.
