Wellington, FL – February 23, 2014 – Equestrian Sport Productions announces that the class specifications have been changed for the Don Little Masters Jumper division. Beginning at FTI WEF 8 and through the rest of the FTI WEF circuit, this division will be run over three competitions in an FEI Championship format.
The winner will be decided over the three competitions as follows:
Day 1 – 1st Competition: One round Table II, with a time allowed, and not against the clock. Blue ribbons awarded for clear rounds. Draw: Open Draw
Day 2 – 2nd Competition: One round Table II, with a time allowed, and not against the clock. Blue ribbons awarded for clear rounds. Draw: Open Draw
Day 3 – The Final Competition consists of two rounds, A and B, judged under Table II, with a time allowed, and not against the clock, with no jump-off against the clock. Riders will come back in Round B in reverse order of total faults. (Highest to lowest.) Riders who have equal scores will be placed in the order by management. Round B in the final competition will be offered to the top 12 competitors with the lowest amount of total faults in all three competitions.
To win the Classic, the riders must have taken part in the first or second Competition (without having been eliminated or without retiring). If a Rider is eliminated or retires from either the first or second Competition, he/she shall be penalized with 20 faults greater than the Athlete with the highest number of faults in the same competition that he/she missed or was eliminated.
The classic will be pinned with lowest amount of (four round) overall faults placing first, to highest amount of faults placing last. Riders in the final round B scoring an equal number of overall faults for all four rounds will remain tied. Entries will be charged a division fee of $450.
The prize money for all three classes will be carried over to the final results: Total of $13,000 paid as follows: $3600, $2440, $1330, $1000, $800, $700, $635, $560, $540, $465, $465, $465
