Press release | Western – The CS Ranch in Givrins is to be the venue for another highlight in the sport of reining. For the first time in history, the FEI World Riders Federation is hosting a World Championships for juniors and young riders in reining, which is a discipline of Western riding. The host of this premiere is the SMA Show Management Association at the CS Ranch by Corinna Schumacher in Givrins, the largest and most professional reinig facility in Switzerland.
The SVAG FEI World Reining Championships Young & Junior Riders will take place from 9th to 12th August. Medals are awardet both in the individual and the individual and the team rankings. The CS Ranch is the home of Gina Schumacher, whoh last year won the gold medal for both the individual and the team standings, for and with the German team. Last year, she also won the world title of the NRHA Non-Pro category.
At the same time, the FEI Reining European Championships for senior riders will take place at the CS Ranch. The title defendants of the last EURO 2015 in Aachen are, in the team ranking Italy (before Germany and the Netherlands), and in the individual ranking the Italian Giovanni Masi de Vargas on the mare Dance Little Spook, before the two Germans Grischa Ludwig (on Shine My Gun) an Elias Ernst (on Uss N Dun It).
The FEI Championships are integrated into the well-known SVAG CS Classic, which have been aligned for years at the CS and have helped the reining sport increase in popularity. The SVAG CS Classic at the CS Ranch has been one of the largest reining events in Europe for years. The CS Ranch in Givrins is among the most beautiful venues in Switzerland. The SVAG CS Classic show is known world-wide for its family-friendly and cozy atmosphere while at the same time being sporty and of exceptional quality.
