They are loved, admired and treated like gemstones. Internationally successful dressage horses are just as famous as their riders and have a fan-following all over the world. They have their own grooms, the very best food and enjoy tailored training and perfect conditions at their home stables. They know their riders well, usually remaining their most important sports partner for many years.
Equestrian stars at the CDI4*
Most noble Italian blood flows in the veins of fourteen-year-old Fixdesign Eremo Del Castegno. The forceful brown gelding has been an important player in international dressage sport for quite some time with his rider Valentina Truppa (ITA) and has also already participated in Olympic games. The duo also succeeded in landing on the podium at the World Cup Finals; in 2012 they won the bronze medal in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands. Currently he ranks 18th in the FEI World Ranking together with his rider.
GLOCK’s Voice, GLOCK’s Johnson TN and GLOCK’s Casper can look forward to very special cheering and applause. They will make the trip with the two Dutch superstars GLOCK Rider Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud. A veritable sunshine boy is “Voici”, as fans lovingly call GLOCK’s Voice. The jet black stallion and his rider Edward Gal helped the Dutch team to achieve team bronze at the World Equestrian Games 2014 and have already collected 10 victories and five podium places since 2013.
GLOCK’s Johnson TN is a real eye-catcher. This 13-year-old KWPN stallion shows his class through brilliant performance in the arena and expressive basic gaits. Since April 2014 this son of Jazz has been part of Team GLOCK and internationally presented by GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud. After the first successes, such as the eighth place at the FEI World Cup Final in Lyon, ‘Johnny’ danced under Hans Peter Minderhoud to team bronze in the World Equestrian Games 2014 in Caen, and is currently 20th in dressage world ranking. The GLOCK duo, Hans Peter and GLOCK’s Johnson TN, already is part of the Dutch Olympic squad for Rio 2016.
With his strong movements, GLOCK’s Casper is a dressage talent with a great future, who will be presented by Hans Peter Minderhoud in the CDI3* for the first time on local GHPC ground. The eight-year-old KWPN gelding has already been successful in the renowned Pavo Cup and qualified in 2013 for the world championship for young horses. Amongst other things, this elegant son of Westpoint impresses with his responsiveness, a thorough clean canter and smooth travers.
Personality, expression and elegance, are just a few of many wonderful characteristics of 15-year-old Donnerfee, who was raised in Belgium. With her rider Claudia Fassaert (BEL), this daughter of De Niro has already participated in Olympic Games, World and European championships and has already seen some victories at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER.
