Press release – The Czech rider Emma Augier de Moussac with her wonderful horse Diva, beat 12 riders in the jump off of the Tio Pepe sponsored, 1.50m, Longines Ranking GP here at the Sunshine Tour today.

Her very fast time of just 34.37 sec was well over a second faster than the Belgian rider, Fabienne Daigneux-Lange on Venue D’Fees Des Hazall who took second place in 35.58 sec. Bernard Briand on Qadillac du Heup for France, was third in 36.22 sec and in fourth was Luca Moneta on Herold N riding for Italy in a time of 35.35 sec. In fifth place was the British rider Lance Whitehouse on Vik II in a time of 36.83 sec.

In the 1.45m Longines Ranking, C class the very successful rider from Great Britain, Matthew Sampson won with Perfect Rouge in a time of 60.00 sec. He also had another success today winning the the 1.40m, Big Tour B class on Billy Tortilla in 56.05 sec.

The other winners in the 1.45m Ranking Class were: second, Luca Moneda on Neptune Brecourt in 60.15 sec; third, Irish rider Billy Twomey on GK Casperin 61.30 sec; fourth,  Janakabhorn Karunayadhaj on Newmarket Venture from Thailand and in fifth, Swedish rider, Angelie Von Essen on Qamaieu de Montsec.

In the 1.40m B Tour, the British rider Harriet Nuttall on Silver Lift took second place behind Matthew Sampson. In third was the French rider Hugo Breul on Follina Van Ter Hulst. Two other British riders Jessica Dimmock on Cudansa M and Lance Whitehouse on Cartino III took fourth and fifth.

Lance Whitehouse was the winner of the Big Tour A2 riding Miss Belverdere. The Dutch rider Doron Kulpers on Diablo F was second; third was the Portuguese rider, Joao Pereira on Quala; fourth was the British rider Danielle Farnsworth on Claddagh Iroko and in fifth was the French rider Alix Ragot on Viola O’Moulin.
There was a British top two in the Big Tour A1. Joe Whitaker riding Lougnatousa Sheldon followed by Mark Armstrong on Balougio III. In third was the Spanish rider  Jaime Gabarrón on Brioni de Vidau and in fourth and fifth, two more British riders, Douglas Duffin on Pyjama Jack and Theo Simpson on Alvin Only.

In the 1.40m Medium Tour the Brazilian rider Caio Carvalho on Cheindira took the win. Second was Jodie Hall Mcateer on Colette; third was the Peruvian rider Carlos Merino on Ofelia Te Quiero. In fourth place was the Alexandra Grove riding for Belgium on Touche VD Drie Eiken Z and in fifth was the Spanish rider Otti Verdú on Top Lulu.

In the Medium Tour B, the top two places also went to Great Britain with Abbe Burchmore-Eames winning on Castianeira and Kayleigh Watts taking second on Fashion V. Two Spanish riders took third and fourth places Nerea Garaygordobil on Datina and Otti Verdú Twiggy KA. Another British rider took fifth place, Georgina Crumley on Moon Zappa.

In the 1.30m Medium Tour A, there was a Spanish top two with María Sainz de Rozas on Cinderella 597 in first and Nerea Garaygordobil on Mira do Pegullall this time taking second. María Ida Loro riding for Italy on Tinka’s Riverland took third place with Nerea Garaygordobil this time riding Davinia R, also taking fourth. In fifth was the British rider Thomas Roche on jade Van’t Prinsenveld.

In the Small Tour C, the British rider Eleanor Hall Mcatteer on Dazzle II was the winner. In the Small Tour B, the Belgian rider Louise Joassin on Sherman Sitte took the win and in the Small Tour A, Kayleigh Watts was the winner on Falballa de Messitert.

Tomorrow there are a total of eight classes, including the Final of the Big Tour C, a 1.45m Ranking class. The best ten competitors in this class will qualify for the Invitational GP on Sunday.
