Darragh Kenny loses some of his top horses
The Irish showjumping rider Darragh Kenny posted on his Facebook page that he will be no longer competing the horses of his sponsor Hyperion Stud. This means a really big loss for Kenny, because with that he also loses his top horse Imhotep. Together with the Indoctro-son Kenny was present at the World Equestrian Games in Caen (FRA) last year and the couple placed twelfth in the individual ranking.
In addition, he will also need to say good bye to Cohiba VDL, Alpha VDL and Chin Quidam VDL. On his Facebook page the young Irish said: „I’m saddened to announce that I will no longer compete the horses for Hyperion stud, the horses left my stable this week, although it is very disappointing to lose such great horses that I had great success with, I do hope they keep going great, imothep was an amazing horse and made a lot of my dreams come true, I’m very thankful to him and Hyperion stud for that chance, as for now I look forward to new horses and new ventures in my career.“
