Comeback for Big Star and Nick Skelton
According to Horse & Hound, the world famous stallion Big Star (Quick Star x Nimmerdor) is soon making his comeback with Nick Skelton (GBR) in the saddle. The 12-year old bay has always been the darling of the public and was globally known as an exceptional horse in the showjumping circuit. In addition to many great international results, the pair placed individually fifth at 2012 London Olympics.

Unfortunately the wonderful career of this athlete was clouded by many injuries since autumn 2013. Last year he was then back in the ring for a short time, but after the Global Champions Grand Prix of Estoril 2014 he was again forced to pause.
His comeback he will -hopefully- make next week in Vilamoura (POR). To H&H Skelton said that Big Star will start off with some smaller classes because he wasn’t on a show for the last 16 months.
