BB | Eventing – 48 pairs were on the starting list of the CIC1* – beginning at 9 o`clock – in the international 1 star eventing competition at the military academy in Wr. Neustadt (NÖ). Today (Friday, 30.06.) harmony and correct transitions had to be shown in the dressage arena. For the eventing horses, which are often high in blood, it is often not very easy to stay calm and preserve a chill head during the dressage.
Polina Roshchupkina and Cenzura from Russia showed the best performance with 40.40 penalty points. Felix Vogg (41,20) and Eveline Bodenmüller (41,40) rank on two and three for Switzerland after teh dressage.
Best Austrian duo in this CIC1* competition at the Horse Trials Wr. Neustadt were Michaela Iglhauser and Look At me 7. They will take along 41, 60 points into the cross country tomorrow. With Nicole Riedel (AUT/ST) with Grace 11 and Claudia Möller (AUT/NÖ) and Rose herself there are another two Top Ten ranks for Austria after the first part of the CIC1*.
There are only about four points between the first ten riders, so one fault in the cross country can change everything! It remains thrilling.
