Championship-Fever and Top-Results
Arezzo was the place to be for every show jumping rider and fan in Italy last weekend (21-24 March 2016) since it was the location of the Italian Championships. Our Alpenspan rider Gianni Govoni did not want to miss this as well and took his reliable partner Antonio into the arena.

Gianni and the eleven-year old KWPN gelding by Oklund started off with a third place in Thursday’s 1.50 m competiton and finished eleventh and sixth in the following competitions of the championships which lead to the great third place in the overall result. As a little bonus, Gianni also finished second in Sunday’s 1.35 m class aboard Camiro Z.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Like mother, like daughter – like wife, like husband
The mother-daughter duo Gudrun and Jasmin Pirker and the spouses Sandra and Dieter Köfler were highly successful at the national show in St. Veit. Gudrun and her swedish bred mare Alpenspan Citadelle did a fantastic job and went home with a victory (1.25 m), a second place (1.35 m) and a fourth place (1.40 m) on their account. Her daughter Jasmin followed in her footsteps and secured two victories as well as a third place in the pony competitions aboard Noblesse Oblige.

Sandra and Dieter Köfler were pretty consistent, too. In the 1.10 m classes, Sandra and Candida took home a victory and a second place, Dieter finished second and third with Classico K and Farah Dibah. Lindbergh jumped to another victory with Sandra in the 1.20 m class which she shared with Dieter and his mount Francis 2. Furthermore, Sandra and Lindbergh came fifth in the 1.25 m class on Sunday.

Gmoser Festival in Kottingbrunn
Peter Gmoser is always a welcomed guest as well as one of the top contestants at dressage shows. At the national event in Kottingbrunn, Peter began his weekend with a victory in the Intermediaire II with Salgado (69,912 %) and was also unbeatable in the Prix St. Georg aboard Royal Dimension (69,781 %). On Sunday, he secured yet another first place with Royal Dimension (70,046 %) and celebrated the two third places with Royal Spirit in the Prix St. Georg and Intermediaire II.
The junior vs. the pros
At the CSI2* Linz-Ebelsberg, Leonard Platzer had to ride against a lot of tough competitors. Our European Championship finalist of 2015 was not affected by that at all and secured a 14th place in the Silver Tour (1.35 m) and a ninth place in the Gold Tour (1.45 m) with his Selle Francais mare Nausica Tame.
