The CP National Horse Show returns to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY on October 27th through November 1st, 2015 and once again, one of Lexington’s most popular and successful car dealerships, Audi of Lexington, returns as the Official Car of the 2015 CP National Horse Show. In addition, they will be presenting the highly competitive Leading Jumper Rider award again this year.
Just recently, the organizers of the 2015 CP National Horse Show revealed that the show has been chosen as one of only seven events that will comprise the East Coast division of the all-new Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League. The North American League begins in August of this year across seven East and seven West Coast venues in three countries: the United States, Mexico and Canada. The 14 events that will host legs of the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping™ North American League were selected after a rigorous screening process from a long list of 25 applicants.
This year’s show will offer over $850,000 in total prize money. The International and Open Jumpers will feature $560,000 in total prize money, including the $250,000 CP National Horse Show Grand Prix, CSI-W 5*. In the Junior and Amateur Owner Jumpers Division, there will be $100,000 in prize money, and $200,000 in prize money will be offered in the AA rated Hunter Division.
One again, Audi of Lexington will provide, for a year, the use of a brand new Audi Q7 to the Leading Open Jumper Rider at this year’s show. Previous winners include Great Britain’s London Gold Medalist Nick Skelton, American stars Lauren Hough and Christine McCrea in 2012, Belgium’s Nicola Philippaerts in 2013 and Beezie Madden was the winner last year.
The Audi Q7 will be awarded to this year’s Leading Open Jumper Rider following the main event, the $250,000 CP National Horse Show Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon, November 2nd.
