Alpenspan show jumper Gianni Govoni (ITA) triumphed last weekend (26.-29.202017) at the CSI2* in Verona (ITA), young rider Lena Binder showed a strong performance at the CSM in Linz (Upper Austria) and dressage ace Peter Gmoser rode from victory to victory at Magna Racino in Ebreichsdorf (Lower Austria).
Alpenspan was in everyone’s eye at Jumping Verona. As a sponsor in the arena, with a well-attended booth at the fair but also active in the show. The “Master of Faster” Gianni Govoni showed an extremely strong performance in the CSI2*. The Six Bars in the Fieracavalli was won by the Italian Alpenspan Azuro aboard Suzie with a precise jumping technique and without fault, in the two-start Grand Prix he came second.
There were also reports of success from the Alpenspan Dressage Camp. Six victories went to the account of our good humoured Alpenspan rider Peter Gmoser at the CDN-A at the Magna Racino. With the Hanoverian stallion Banderas he dominated the young horse trophy and won three times. With the 12-year-old Lezard 12 he won the Intermediare A with 71.343% and aboard the nine-year-old Hanoverian mare Sardera S the judges rewarded 72.73% in the Prix St. George. Gmoser rode the only four-year-old Oldenburg stallion Don Jon in the dressage test K. A. with an overall score of 8.5 to victory.
