A perfect show week (23.-28.08.2016) lies behind the green Alpenspan riders. They were busy at international shows at the CSI3* in Montefalco (ITA), at the CSI2* in Wr. Neustadt (AUT) and at the Pony National Championships in Tillmitsch (AUT). Gianni Govoni (ITA) and the Austrian riders Dieter Koefler, Gerfried Puck and Jasmin Pirker collected a whole bunch of prices.
Alpenspan Azzuro Gianni Govoni aboard his 13-year-old mare Winn Winn was unbeatable at the CSI3* Grand Prix in Montefalco.
The 2 Star Ostarichi Grand Prix (1,45 m) in Wr.Neustadt was also dominated by the men in green coats from Team Alpenspan. Dieter Koefler and Gerfried Puck celebrated a double win. Dieter won masterfully aboard his 13-year-old gelding Askaban with the only fault free ride ahead of Gerfried, who rode Bionda.
Gerfried and Dieter’s four-legged youngsters showed a very constant performance this past weekend. Gerfried’s six-year-old horses – the KWPN-mares Fephelia and Flint 4 and the KWPN-geldig For Fun VT – remained nearly fault free in the classes over 1,25 m. In the finals for Young Horses (1,30 m) Flint 4 (Canturano x Cavalier) and For Fun VT (Zirocco Blue Vdl x Indorado) placed second and eighth. The styrian rider rode his seven-year-old horses Elroyal and Eclips 2 without faults. He superiorly won the Youngster Tour Finals (1,40 m) with Elroyal under the saddle.
Dieter Koefler’s six-year-old Holsteiner mare Candida (Cancara x Corofino I) and the seven-year-old belgian stallion Lindbergh 2 (Lord Chin x Le Vainqueur) also convinced with fault-free runs. A second, an 18th and a 23rd place with Golden Gun and Askaban in the Big Tour (1,45 m) and a fourth place over 1,35 m aboard Stakkata ended Dieter’s weekend in a perfect way.
Gerfried Puck also celebrated more placings: A second place in the Grossen Steinfeld Derby (1,45 m), place seven in the 1,35 m Medium Tour and a remarable 22nd place out of 100 riders in the Big Tour (1,45) was the gratifying result with the ten-year-old KWPN mare Bo. A sixth place with Davey (Cantorano x Burggraf) in the Premium Tour (1,30 m) and an eleventh place with Bionda in the 1,35 m Medium Tour meant two more placings for the rider from Team Alpenspan in the international show.
Victory and placings for the youngest Alpenspan-team member!
The youngest Alpenspan team member kept up with the big riders: With Nobless Oblige Jasmin Pirker (AUT) succeeded with a first and a second place in the pony class shows and came fifth in the Styrian National Championships.
