CM – Yesterday (09.03.2017) the Romanian Denis Stefan arrived in Austria. He finally gets to work with “real” trainers. Until now he had to acquire all his knowledge in self-study. Since February 2016 he has tried to train his mare Uma, who was regarded as not rideable and destined for the slaughterhouse.
After a full day program under the wings of Joedy Cunningham Denis spent today with professional rider Vern Sapergia who has his base on the Flying P Ranch owned by Gitti and Roman Polly in Mannersdorf (Lower Austria).

EQWO.net: How was your day with Vern Sapergia?
Denis Stefan: “It was a great day with a great amount of technical information. I was a little bit stressed because I was like a kid in a candy store, trying to absorb everything that this great trainer said. That Vern and his wife let me ride their horse was amazing and gave me the chance to try out what he told me. You can never be sure what you’re looking for in training a horse unless you know what it’s supposed to feel like.“
