Press Release – The Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) 2016 Holiday Series will feature the ninth annual Holiday & Horses FEI CSI 4* at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC). The show will commence on Wednesday, November 30, and continue through Sunday, December 4, beginning international competition of the winter season in the equestrian capital of the world. The 2016 Holiday & Horses CSI 4* competition will run under the USEF Presidential Modification allowing points, prize money, and awards to count towards the 2017 competition calendar.
“We’re looking forward to hosting another consecutive year of FEI competition during the ESP Holiday & Horses CSI 4* at PBIEC,” said Michael Stone, President of Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC. “We feel that the ESP Holiday Series provides an excellent platform for athletes preparing for a competitive winter season, both in the hunter and jumper disciplines. The Holiday & Horses Presidential Modification, which allows for early point accumulation towards the 2017 calendar year, is very beneficial for those competing at the first ‘AA’ Premier show of the season.”
The 2016 Holiday & Horses CSI 4* competition will host the $35,000 Holiday & Horses Open Welcome CSI 4*, $35,000 Holiday & Horses 1.50m Qualifier CSI 4*, $35,000 Holiday & Horses 1.45m Speed CSI 4*, $216,000 Holiday & Horses Grand Prix CSI 4*, and conclude with a $25,000 National Grand Prix on Sunday, December 4.
The 2016 ESP Holiday Series, which begins on Wednesday, November 30, and concludes on Sunday, January 8, is set to offer six hunter and jumper competitions at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC).
