Gianni speeds it up
The world’s best show jumping riders met at the beautiful Piazzi di Siena at the bottom of the famous park Villa Borghese in the center of the eternal city of Rome. Of course, Gianni Govoni was there to be part of it. The 49-year old caused for a lot of cheering in Thursday’s opening competition (1.45 m) which he won aboard his ten-year old grey stallion Bobolensky (by Cornet Obolensky). With another clear round on Friday (1.50 m) and a second victoriy in Sunday’s 1.45 m accumulator competition, he showed off his great form. Gianni’s eleven-year old Oklund-son Antonio did very well too and finished second in the small Grand Prix (1.50/1.55 m) in the jump-off.

Alessia shows class
Driving home from the CSIO3* Lisboa was quite long, but very pleasing for Alessia Rossi. Aboard he reliable partner Caruso (by Calato x Quidam de Revel), the Italian lady rider secured a twelfth as well as a ninth place in the 1.45 m competitions on Thursday and Friday.

Peter & Martin secure victories
Alpenspan Dressage-Pro Peter Gmoser geared up his horses for a national show in Wien-Freudenau. The traditional event went very well for him. Peter and his six-year old Hanoverian Banderas (by Barclay) won both classes for the six-year old horses with scores of 8.0 and 7.78. With Danilo, he managed to finish third both in the Intermediaire II (66,228 %) and the Grand Prix (66,633 %).
Another victory was celebrated by team captain Anton Martin Bauer, who won a 1.35 m class with Holstein bred mare Zilesska at a national show in Lassee.
