Team Alpenspan riders keep the good results coming

Outdoor Opening at Racino Equestrian Park
Gerfried Puck and his horses scored precisely ten placings during the Outdoor Opening at the Racino Equestrian Park in Lower Austria. His six-year old KWPN mare Fephelia (by Cardento) deliverd clear rounds in the young horses competitions (1.05/1.15 m) on Friday. The reigning Austrian champion secured two more ribbons aboard the seven-year old BWP mare J’Adore du Paly in the competitions over 1.30/1.35 m. Dokio, an eight-year old Canturano-offspring, managed to do a triple and finished 13th (1.35 m), 15th (1.25 m) and sixth (1.40 m) this weekend. With solid performances in the 1.30/1.40 m classes, Elroyal, Polarina’s Red Rose and Cuela completed the track record.
Gerfried’s partner Katrin Pfingstl took over the reins of her KWPN mare Cuela again on Sunday and finished twelfth in the accumulator over 1.35 m. With Wladimir S she came eleventh in the same class. Katrin also showed two clear rounds aboard La Charite Z in the 1.20 m classes where she secured a fourth and a 13th place. Our European Junior Championship Finalist Leonard mPlatzer and the Selle Francais mare Nausica Tame were placed twice in the 1.35/1.40 m classes.
Meanwhile in the south…
Our Italian Alpenspan rider Gianni Govoni was „sempre avanti“ – always one step ahead – at the CSI3* San Giovanni in Marignano (ITA). With his twelve-year old KWPN stallion Bobolensky (by Cornet Obolensky) he stayed clear in Friday’s world ranking class over 1.45 m and won the 1.40 m competition on Saturday aboard Devlin K. Dieter Köfler showed his young guns Farah Dibah (by Cornet Obolensky), Classico K (by Clarimo) and Francis (by Warrant) at a regional competition near his homebase and was clear with all of them.
