That good old Ornella…

It must be recognized that the mare, who has still won some 5 stars Grand Prix, was clearly above the competition in this 1,40m class : « Today, I had the choice between riding this class or in the big one tonight. I’ve chosen this one where I knew I would ride her at her full potential : she doesn’t need this type of training anymore. It’s a medium class, she loves to do this type of speed exercise, and it puts her in a good mood, to have some fun during a round. I know she is still capable of jumping some Grand Prix, and if I need her to, she will even be in a World Cup Grand Prix, but I don’t need to right now, and I don’t want to bother her with that. She has done her job with this victory, that’s it »!
Patrice Delaveau has another important mission this week-end in Bordeaux : to win the last points (a dozen, with a rank in the first 8 tomorrow night) to qualify for the 2016 World Cup final next month in Göteborg. And so, the goal is not necessarily to win the World Cup Grand Prix tomorrow, and if there are 7 or 8 clear-rounds, and if I’m lucky enough to be part of them, it will means that I have enough points to go to Göteborg, then I will try to win… »! We can’t change Patrice Delaveau !
