Wellington, FL – January 14, 2016 – The Asheville Regional Airport Wellington Eventing Showcase, Presented by Wellington Equestrian Realty will be held at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC), on February 5-6, 2016. Approximately twenty top Eventing riders representing the USA, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand are expected to attend this unique event that highlights the Olympic sport at a premier venue with $75,000 in prize money and VIP seating amenities.
The following riders have confirmed that they will be competing at the 2016 Asheville Regional Airport Wellington Eventing Showcase, presented by Wellington Equestrian Realty. All riders were invited to ride two horses each, but several have opted to bring only one horse. There will be approximately 35 horse/rider combinations in this competition. The final list of riders with their horses’ names will be released the week before the event.

Competitors will demonstrate the first phase of the three-part sport, focusing on the balance and fluidity of dressage on Friday, February 5. The competition then continues with the stadium jumping and cross-country portions of the sport the following day, Saturday, February 6. The event will run at the Advanced level.
