Press Release | Showjumping – The 7yr old class today was up to height at 1.30m and run over two phases. The Section A winner was Viace Houston DH Z (Va Vite/Withney VD Dwerse) ridden by Colombian rider Dayro Arroyave with a winning time of 22.31 sec. Bazento ridden by British rider Lance Whitehouse was second in 23.64 sec and Polyhorn de Salz, ridden by Iván Serrano in a time of 23.75 sec, was third. Dayro Arroyave also took fourth riding Kadance Van’t Lozerhof and Colton Playtime ridden by British rider, Kayleigh Watts took fifth.
In Section B, Brighton Bay (Ultimo/Anoulavasca) ridden by Czech rider Emma Augier de Moussac, stopped the clock in 22.40 sec. Neugschwent’s Castella ridden by Helmut Schönstetter from Germany was second in 22.71 sec. Karibou Horta ridden by the Belgian rider Jos Verlooy took third in 22.78 sec and he was also fourth with Firecracket. Foot Loose ridden by the Irish rider Mark Mc Auley took fifth place. There were 140 in the class 74 had clear rounds that count towards qualification to the Young Horse Finals held on the 15th of March.
In the 6yr old class there were 165 horses competing with 94 going clear.
In the 5yr olds 134 horses jumped and 51 achieved a clear rounds.
