It was a highly successful weekend for our Team Alpenspan riders. During the national competition in Ebreichsdorf from February 24 to 26 2017, Anton Martin Bauer and his daughter Lena Binder secured some ribbons while Gerfried Puck impressed with international placings in Warsaw (Poland).
Like father, like daughter
The fact that talent does run in the family is often proofed by Alpenspan youngster Lena Binder. In Ebreichsdorf, she did not just finish third aboard her new horse Aramis in a competition over 1.10 m, but also competed in her very first Grand Prix. Riding Imany vd Middelstede, Lena showed a skilled round and finished off with just three poles down.
Her father Anton Martin Bauer won Saturday’s main class over 1.40 m aboard his BWP stallion Viper van Huize Ruisdael. Furthermore, he was placed seven times with Fire PZW, Cai Caprice and Charissimo 4.
Warsaw Vibes
Gerfried Puck could be more than pleased with his weekend, too. Competing at the CSI3*-W Warsaw he finished on sixth and eigth place in the 1.40/1.45 m classes riding his grey mare Bo. Additionally, he came sixth in Friday’s World Ranking class (1.50 m) aboard Bionda and ninth in the Grand Prix over 1.55 m.
