From March 14-20, Alpenspan Team rider Gianni Govoni delivered some great results at the CSI3* show in Arezzo (ITA). The Italian scored twelve placings in total, on of them in the Grand Prix. In the meantime, Gudrun Pirker and Alessia Rossi showed their horses in San Giovanni in Marignano and Gerfried Puck, Dieter and Sandra Köfler spent their weekend in St. Margarethen in Austria.
“Italian Festival” for Gianni Govoni in Arezzo (ITA)
Riding his Cornet Obolensky x Numero Uno-offspring Bobolensky, Gianni started into the competiton with a sixth place in the Silver Tour on Thursday. With a fifth place in the world ranking class on Sunday, the duo scored another top result. Aboard the seven-year-old Intrigo RS (Indorado x Diamant de Semilly) Gianni finished twelfth in Friday’s Gold Tour competition (1.35 m), followed by a tenth and eleventh place on Saturday and Sunday. With Camiro Z, an offspring of Chippendale Z, our team rider secured the seventh place in Saturday’s Silver Tour (1.45 m).
Furthermore, Gianni finished first, second and eight with the KWPN mare Laoise in the 1.30 m Silver Tour competitions and rode Antonio, a KWPN gelding by Oklund, to eleventh place in Sunday’s Gold Tour Grand Prix.
Gudrun and Alessia score in San Giovanni (ITA)
Alpenspan Lady Gudrun Pirker and her Chess-daughter Alpenspan Citadelle managed to finish third in Friday’s 1.25 m competition in San Giovanni. Alessia Rossi and her mount Kampari (by Boris van het Kluizebos) delivered a clear round in Tuesday’s competition for young horses and secured another top result for the Alpenspan Team on Sunday where she finished sixth in the world ranking class aboard her Calato-offspring Caruso.
Gerfried, Dieter and Sandra convince in St. Margarethen (AUT)
The national three-day-event in St. Margarethen (Carinthia, Austria) was very successful for Gerfried Puck, Dieter Köfler and his wife Sandra. Aboard his KWPN stallion For Fun, Gerfried finished third in Saturday’s 1.15 m class. In the 1.40 m competition he came third with Elroyal and sixth with Bionda 3. In Sunday’s final 1.40 m class, Gerfried and Elroyal delivered another great round and finished second.
Sandra Köfler was happy about her third place with Candida in the 1.05 m class on Friday while her husband Dieter finished fifth aboard Francis in the same class. Dieter also secured the second and tenth place in Friday’s and Saturday’s 1.35 m classes with the seven-year-old mare Bea 77.
