When you look at EQWOteam rider Natalia Belova’s photos, one could think she’s on vacation. She spent the past week (31.10.-06.11.2016) in Spain. With the horses Ferdinand, Cosimo 48, Mercury and Quick Shine at the international beim Internationalen Springturnier in Valencia (ESP). “I’m enjoying the time here very much. It’s a little bit like train ing at home and not competing. We can prolong the outdoor season and the horses are feeling great here.”
One Highlight at the beginning of the week was a fault free round at the CSIYH vor six-year-old horses over 1,25 m with her KWPN gelding Ferdinand (0/72,07). On Friday the duo presented themselves again successfully and came fourteenth over 1,40 m (0/74,56).
At the end of the week the 21-year old EQWO team rider and her twelve-year-old Holsteiner stallion Cosimo 48 placed eleventh in the test over 1,45 m (4/41,88) and gained five points for the Longines Ranking. In the 2 star competition over 1,40 m she presented the nine-year-old Mercury (by Catoki) and stayed fault free in both rounds and placed thenth. In between the many starts Natalia had enough time to enjoy the warm weather in Spain. She even made time for rides on the beach!
