Sporting her almost brandnew Alpenspan tailcoat, Belinda Weinbauer was not only an optical highlight at the national dressage competition in Ebreichsdorf from March 3 to 5 2017. She also impressed with her achievements in the arena. The reigning Austrian dressage champion won basically everything there was. On Friday, she started off with her first victory aboard Fräulein Auguste MJ (by Florencio I) in the Prix St. Georg and came third riding the Hanoveranian mare Ferrero Küsschen MJ.
Belinda and Fräulein Auguste MJ were also in top shape again in Saturday’s Prix St. Georg, where they were only beaten by one other combination – Belinda and Ferrero Küsschen MJ. This should not be the last double-victory of the weekend. On Sunday, Belinda finished first and second with Fräulein Auguste MJ and Ferrero Küsschen MJ in the Intermediaire I. Good weekend? We think so!
Meanwhile, our Italian rider Gianni Govoni scored a victory in his home country. Riding the ten-year old italian bred stallion Larbraker, he won the 1.45 m Big Tour Class at CSI2* Gorla Minore.
