The outdoor season has finally started in Austria. Alpenspan Rider Dieter Köfler took advantage of the event close to his homebase to introduce his young horses to competition life. And they showed themselves from their very best side! The five-year old Hanoverian gelding Sinaway (by Stolzenberg) won his first ever class over 1.05 m with a mark of 8.5. Classico K, a seven-year old horse, won a competition over 1.25 m and finished seventh over 1.15 m. Stakkata had a promising start to the season, too by winning the 1.40 m class and placing over 1.30 m just like Dieter’s most experienced horse Golden Gun.
Meanwhile, the Italian Alpenspan Rider Gianni Govoni did not just enjoy the sunshine in Arezzo, but also the splendid performance of his horses. His ever-so-quick KWPN mare Winn Winn proofed her name fitting once again and won a world ranking class as well as placing in one leading over 1.45/1.50 m. Ten-year old Larbraker finished sixth in the Grand Prix (1.55 m) and placed again in the Gold Tour (1.45 m). Gianni’s newest horse, eight-year old Djingle de Cense d’Heure (Ogano Sitte x Graaf) ended up ninth in the Silver Tour leading over 1.35 m.
